Cowboys on Water Skis?

Hope you all have checked out the recent Pride Video Blog where they are wakeboarding with PRCA Announcer Bob Tallman on Flathead Lake in Montana. If you have checked it out I would strongly urge you to view it as you will get a good laugh out of it. I was impressed with how good Jason Havens was on the board.

Congrats also goes out to Bobby Mote who recently won over $12k at the Canadian Tour Finals. Unfortunately, he will not be able to compete in the Canadian Finals because he didn’t go to 15 rodeos north of the border. Oh well, more time to spend with the family and get ready for the Wrangler NFR.

Staying with the world champion updates Luke Branquinho captured the win in Omaha to move into second in the world standings and then he headed out for a three week hunting trip that will take him to Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.

The Heartland Finals begin this weekend in Waco and will be the last rodeo to count for PRCA cowboys still trying to make the Wrangler NFR. Should be interesting to see who moves into the top 15 and who gets knocked out.

The 2009 Dodge Circuit Finals rodeo are underway with the Turquoise Circuit Finals in the books. This weekend will see action in the Badlands Circuit in Minot, N.D. The year-end winners and average winners from each circuit finals will qualify to compete in Pocatello, Idaho at the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo in April.
